berlin berlin!!!
We rode our bikes Brandenburg gates The gate is one of Berlin's best-known places in berlin and a symbol that is important history events of the 19th and 20th centuries. Today, the gate is viewed above all as a symbol for unification - when East and West Berlin came back together as it was split for many years. We also ride our bikes down streets and other places like that.it is our favourit thing to do.
we all relax out the front sometimes have a beer and icecream and relax. It was good to have Dad back. I loved it. Riding about felt like freedom.
We would go down little parks sometimes were we would go really fast sometimes. i love my bike what i just got because it has four gears and a lot of grip/
We went to Mauerpark. It is a park in Prenzlaur berg. The name means "Wall Park", referring to the of Berlin and its Death Strip. the death strip is the no mans land between East and West Berlin - it is where the old Berlin Wall used to be - if any body went over it they would get shot which is brutal!
We rode through Tempelhof Airport, which was designated as an airport by the nazi government. The old terminal was built in 1927. The Nazi government began a massive reconstruction in the mid-1930s. It is now closed down, so we got to ride where the planes landed.
this is our street called Simon Dach strasse its the best because we got ice cream, a little store and PIZZA!!!! It was named Simon Dach Strasse in 1903, and that is when our apartment building was built. Our building survived the second world war, but many didn't.
