Jews would be whipped really hard and for a real bad toucher they leave them in darkness and no food for a month  or a week. It was horrible they would have rotten soup for breakfast.

This was the bath room. Up to four hundred people slept in bed together, sometimes three to four to a single bed. It looked like horror land. It was horrible or should i say DEATH TAKING!!!! There was a statue also and it had triangles on it. I did not know what that was about but interesting.  Also six million jews died at lots of camps like this one in Europe.  Thats two thirds of the Jewish people in Europe at the time. Thats called genocide.

Hitler wanted to kill all Jews, and people who were different. He killed gay people, disabled people, smart people, gypsies, and he was scared of anyone who was different. He was the leader of the Nazi party was born in Austria. Back then Austria was part of Hungary. Hitler was born near Linz.  He moved to Germany in 1913 and was decorated during his service in the Germany Army in the first world war.  In 1919, he joined the government. In 1923, he attempted to seize power in failed coup in Munich, then was imprisoned. A coup is when you attempt to overthrow the exisiting government.

The second world war happened in 1939 and stopped at 1945 and that war is older then me so that is amazing. My grandfather was born in 1943, so he was two when the war finished. World War II was  brought the world into total warfare. Averaging  27,000 people were killed each day between September 1, 1939, until the Japan surrendered on September 2nd 1945. It was the most destructivewar in human history.
