Japan is so fun!!!
First we got in a train for forty minutes. Then we got out of the train. we went to the exit and we met a old friend called Hiroshi. I couldn't remember Hiroshi but couldn't because i saw him when i was 2 and i'm 10 now we went to his house and it was pretty huge.
The next day was so much fun we went to heaps of candy shops and a huge pond with lotus plants like the whole pond was field with them. We went to a Japanese restaurant we had a lot of Japanese food like dumpling, ramen, miso soup, sushi, and soba noodles. I love Japanese food because its so tasty. The ramen soups are my favourite because the soup has so much flavour and the noodles are so good.
We had lots of candy - big teddy candy lollies as big as my hand. Sour lollies that has grape flavour and watermelon flavour. They also had vending machines which were really good. In Australia there is not much vending machines, but in Japan they are everywhere. In the train stations we had to have a Japanese card to let us travel on the public transport. I could also use this for the vending machines. I was a little naughty and would get chocolate milks without asking mum. But it tasted so good!
The transport was really good and easy. Trains and buses. We also walked to some places as well. There were second hands shops that could sell electronics really cheap. Ipads could be so cheap. We eat great donuts at Mister Donuts. Mine was all chocolate icing with a chocolate buns.
We went to the zoo that was huge. We first went in and I thought it was small but then we looked at the map and we only did half the place. We saw nearly all the animals in the world from Madagascar to Australia, to China. There was a small animal that was half sugar glider and half kangaroo. I loved the zoo. Hugo loved the animals, he was so occupied.
He stayed at Hiroshi's house. It looked like a japanese ninja house. The beds were really hard on the floor, but I love hard beds. I slept very well. One day I woke up at 10 in the morning! Hiroshi's mums name was Hari san. Harisan was really sweet. When we left mum was crying and harisan was crying. Hugo loved harisan. It was like she was his grandma. Harisan got very active with Hugo.
Tokyo is amazing. Because it has everything that I love. I didn't really love vending machines as I had never used them before, but I loved them in Japan. Tokyo is amazing because the food is so good. We didn't have any duck, but it was still good. Duck is my favourite meat.
hiroshi and me made a ring and now i know how to make a cool ring but is so difficult.
also we went to a local festival and it was fantastic i loved it. also i did a game and i won these candy jelly lolly pop things. then we went back home and went to sleep.
now im going to talk about hiroshi the friend right next to me here in the photo
hiroshi is 50 years old and his job is making jewellery thats how we made the ring that i have what looks really cool with a swirl. It has brazz inside and silver on the outside When it has the spiral you can see gold on the inside. Hiroshi showed us a lot of places in tokyo. But when he was working, we hopped on the subway ourselves. We didn't get lost. Its a very easy subway.
the person next to hugo in hiroshi's house is hiroshis mother.Hiroshi's mum's name is Hari-san. Hari-san is really old and she loved playing with Hugo. We went for a few walks together, but she couldn't walk that far.
we went to japanese Denny's with hiroshsi mother for dinner and dessert for dinner i had a miso soup it taste so good.for dessert i had a huge ice cream what was so good.
this is when we were in a Japanese restaurant the food was the best but hugo gets so messy.
this is the work shop were we made the ring, but it was so hard to make the ring because you have to start with the wax to model it first. I have never made a ring before. It was really fun, but difficult.
This turtle looked very funny so I took a photo of it. It has two nostrils.
we went to a huge exhibition about Asia, and it looked and heard awesome we had head phones learn about the pantings.
these are old traditional dressthat were warn by girls and boys.
i found a army of storm troopers what looked so cool so i had to get a photo with them.We wnet to this huge electronics store. It was so big, it had heaps of Japanese toys. It went big to small. The shop was really cool and I felt excited to be there. I was a bit amazed because it was overwhelming.
his is a photo of a temple in the middle of tokyo called senso'ji.
I ate a lot of dumplings, called gyoza. It was so good. This is one of the best dumpling restaurants in Tokyo. Hugo got wet from the rain.
This is in the train station. The trains come every minute or so. There is lots of different lines, so you get on a few trains to get to where you want to go.
This is hiroshi's house. I reckon it looks very huge. It has an upstairs and downstairs and its so wide. I slept upstairs with mum and hugo.
We went to an exhibition in this building. The building is weird and very cool. There was lots of exhibitions here. We went to two. I really like going to exhibitions. I learnt about all the painting in the exhibition as we had headphones to learn about it. There was a wried shop at the end - I didn't know if you could buy stuff or the whole shop was a sculpture.
We went to a park. It was very beautiful but there was a lot of mosquitoes.
I used my ipad to make this creation. I made it flip upside down so hiroshi is upside down and my mum is the right side up. It turned out really cool. I used a bunch of apps to do it.
