What an awesome week we've had! The artists treehouse has been on our travel wish list for well over a year now and it was everything we hoped it would be. Susan had a great week at the Artists' Treehouse : “I stayed in the Artist Treehouse last week with my family and it was perfect. We arrived late in the evening so Tina met us the next morning to welcome us and to check we had everything we needed. The treehouse was described accurately and is a work of art in itself. Always something to look at or read and everyday finding new nooks of the house to explore. Treehouse was about 10 mins walk from town in a lovely area and easy to find. Would definitely recommend the Artist Treehouse for a family stay, a small group of couples, or anyone who loves art!”

Jane just had a great stay at the Artists' Cottage.
"The Artist's Cottage is a wonderfully unique place to stay in lovely Port Douglas. So many holiday rentals are beige and boring but The Artist's Cottage is full of fabulous artwork and colourful, unusual furnishings. It is a great place to feel artistically inspired in. It is also very comfortable and has everything you need for a great stay. The bed was comfy, there were lots of great coffee table books to peruse, we loved having the balcony doors open at both ends of the building allowing the warm breeze to pass right through the "cottage" and it was great having a BBQ on the balcony. The kitchen is well set up to enable you to cook up a storm, but there are lots of good dining options in town too. Tina, your host, provides a very thorough written guide to Port Douglas, which was much appreciated. The cottage is in walking distance to lovely 4 Mile Beach and fairly close to the centre of town. It is a perfect spot for some relaxation and romance. We certainly look forward to returning some day in the not too distance future!"

“We,- a family from Norway were so lucky to spend one week in this charming apartment this June. First of all,- this flat is situated in the ultimate area of Berlin, Friedrichshain. It is lively , laid-back and very centrally located towards every move you want to make. Simon Dachst str. is the nicest street with a lot of nice restaurants, bars, a very good bakery, a good winestore and nice small shops . The apartment is cosy and spacious. Good beds and a large kitchen area where you can sit all together for breakfast or dinner. All communication before our trip, when we arrived and when we left, went flawless. We felt very welcome. “Beautiful space, exactly what the dr ordered. Plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby but you may find as we did that the kitchen inspires you to stay in and dyi. Books, art, windows that open up to the breeze: we were genuinely sorry to leave. Will be looking for an excuse to return.”

"The Artist's Nook is a wonderful 2 bedroom single level cottage full of artwork and quirky pieces from all over the world. The kitchen has everything you need for self catering and there is a very private decking area out the back with BBQ for those warm Qld nights. It is only 5 minutes to the beach and a gentle 10-15 minute walk to the main Port Douglas shopping area. The owners are friendly and welcoming and are happy to help you in any way they can. We will definitely be back and would have no hesitation in recommending a stay here"

'The Artists Treehouse made our Port Douglas experience a wonderful fun and relaxed family holiday. The layout and styling of the house meant that we did not want to leave and we had such fun cooking meals and having drinks at home. We loved the kitchen/lounge/diner and balcony, it is such a great space for a group and feels really tropical as set high up in the trees. The house was really well equipped and had everything we needed which was really useful with a family. Tina was extremely helpful and friendly in accommodating our requests as we had 3 small children. Thanks to Tina and our experience at the Artists Treehouse - I would highly recommend it.'
We had a wonderful week at the Artists' Nook in Port Douglas. Really appreciated the effort you've made to make this such a special place. Loved the coffee waiting for us in the fridge. Thanks for the tip to explore Daintree and the Walker Brothers' Cultural Tour was great. Fabulous day! Also had a pristine day on the outer reef with Poseidon dive - I highly recommend it but mostly love the sunshine walks and 4 mile beach and lazy days is hanging out and relaxing in this creative space. "When we stumbled upon the Artists Beach House holiday home online, never did we think the place would be as idyllic and picturesque as it has been. Only a short stay here in Port Douglas, but this gorgeous, eclectic house which has been lovingly put together was both beautiful and functional. Everything you need to relax on a tropical breach.
